The daughter said to the Mom, "How am I like you?"

"Well," the mom said. "You have my eyes and we both love clothes."

"But how am I really like you?" the daughter asked.

"What do you mean?"

"You know. Am I good like you?"

"Of course you are," the mom said.

"Will I be just like you when I grow up?"

"No," the mom said. "You will be you."

"What does that mean?"

"It means you will grow into your best self as you live a big and wonderful life."

"What if I'm not good like you?" the daughter said.

"Oh, my sweet girl, I know you will be better than me. You already are."
